Honors Focus Area: Global Business and Operations

Student Activities/Organizations: Triathlon Team, Cru, Bluelab

Favorite place or activity in Ann Arbor: The Arb in the fall

Advice for new students: Put your name down for tons of clubs at Festifall. You may get a lot of emails, but it’s pretty easy to get off the lists (plus, they often give you free stuff for signing up!). You’ll have so many options for ways to get involved at Michigan. Go to lots of meetings and stretch your comfort zone! You won’t regret it.

Major: Industrial and Operations Engineering

Minor: International Minor for Engineers

Honors Focus Area: Global Business and Operations

Student Activities/Organizations: Michigan Emissary Group, EGL Honors Society, Industrial Engineering student staff, volunteering

Favorite place or activity in Ann Arbor: Sitting in the Arb and playing guitar

Advice for new students: Try your best to find your niche. This school of 50,000 can actually be a very scary and lonely place without the steadying influence of a club you’re interested in and close friends who’ve got your back. Also, don’t be afriad to take some personal time–to do the tings you love, to sleep, to eat. If you don’t, you’ll burn out very quickly.
