Thank you for your interest in the Engineering Honors Program! Our program requires that students be at the University of Michigan for two semesters prior to completing an application (one semester for external transfer students).

• Join our interest list so we can contact you when you become eligible about upcoming information sessions and application requirements!
• Email us at coehonors@umich.edu or visit us for walk-in peer advising Monday-Friday 1-5pm in 251 Chrysler Center with questions or for additional information.

For students who came to UM as external transfer, please follow the procedures for “Before Winter 2024”. The procedures below are only for students who entered as first-year students in Winter 2024.

• Attend our Honors Information Session for first-year students on Friday, February 7th from 6pm to 7:30pm in the Chrysler Center (if you couldn’t attend, you can watch a recording of it here)
• Declare your major and minor
• Create your academic plan with your departmental advisor and your minor advisor
• Contact faculty and other potential recommenders
• Visit us for walk-in Peer Advising (Monday-Friday 1-5p in 251 Chrysler Center)
• Attend a pre-application workshop (sign up here!)
• You will be emailed the link to apply once you’ve attend a pre-application workshop
• Applications close Friday, February 28th, 2025.

For students who came to UM as external transfer in Fall 2024, please follow the procedures below.

• Declare your major and minor (if you haven’t already)
