EGL Endowed Scholarship
Dhillon-Randhawa Family Educational Scholarship Fund for EGL
The Dhillon-Randhawa Family Educational Scholarship Fund was established in 2009 to provide a scholarship award each year to one current EGL student. Recipients are selected based on academic excellence, demonstrated leadership and financial need.
- Selection criteria: Recipients are selected based on academic excellence, demonstrated leadership and financial need.
- Application deadline: June 1st
- Award amount: Up to $3,000
- Who should apply? Current EGL undergraduate students
- How do I apply? Complete the CoE Need-Based and Merit-Based Online Application at the end of Winter term. To access the online application, visit http://scholarships.engin.umich.edu/current-students/ and scroll down to the College of Engineering Needs- and Merit-Based Scholarships section. In order to be considered, applicants must include “EGL” when asked to indicate student group or team membership.

Tauber Institute Awards
EGL Capstone Scholarship
All EGL students, upon completing of their Tauber capstone project, are eligible to receive a $1,000 award from the Tauber Institute for Global Operations.
Tauber Leadership Awards
Students who take a leadership role in the Tauber Institute may qualify for additional financial awards. EGL students are encouraged to contact the Tauber Institute for more information about these awards.
Tauber Institute Alumni Scholarship
The Tauber Institute Alumni Scholarship is funded by the Tauber Alumni Scholarship Fund for second-year students. The fund awards two scholarships at Spotlight! in the amount of $2500.00 per scholarship to current Tauber Institute students with at least six months of program experience.
The applicants are evaluated on the following criteria:
- Student Involvement
- Thought Leadership
- Industry Engagement
- Team & Organizational Leadership
Current students may apply by submitting a one-page essay (word document, single space, 12pt) to the Tauber Institute Office c/o Laura Turner (lleyturn@umich.edu) describing how you have given back to the Tauber community during your time at Michigan. All applications must be received by August 18, 2017, 5PM EST.

We encourage all eligible Honors students to apply for major nationally-competitive scholarship awards as well as general scholarships for both undergraduate and graduate study.
