Students must complete 15 credit hours of coursework in the Ross School of Business. In addition to a focus area in Business/Global Operations, EGL students select elective courses in subject areas such as Accounting, Finance, Marketing, and Strategy.
9 credit focus area in Business/Global Operations completed during the Bachelors degree:
- MFG 501: Topics in Global Operations (1.5 credits taken during Fall A semester of senior year)
- TO 605: Manufacturing and Supply Operations (3 credits taken during Fall A & Fall B or Fall B & Winter A during senior year)
- BBA-level Business Electives (4.5 credits selected by the student)
6 additional credits completed during Masters degree:
- MBA-level Business Electives (6 credits selected by the student)
In some departments, business courses may be used to satisfy engineering degree requirements, such as technical electives. Please contact your undergraduate departmental advisor to find out if any business courses could be counted towards your engineering degree.
Any course taught by the Ross School of Business may be counted toward the EGL business elective requirement.
