Engineering Excellence

three students at graduation

Current students in the Michigan Engineering Honors Program maintain a 3.6 or higher cumulative GPA while pursuing their Bachelors degree. For more information on Academic Support, current students can visit Canvas or speak with an Honors advisor.

In addition to the Bachelors degree, students in the EGL specialization earn a Masters degree in Engineering. Students may choose any Bachelors and Masters degrees offered by the University of Michigan College of Engineering.

Many students utilize the Sequential Undergraduate/Graduate Studies (SUGS) program to complete their Masters degree in one additional year. Please contact your undergraduate departmental advisor to learn more about how the SUGS program works in your academic department.
