Academic Standards
Students currently enrolled in the Michigan Engineering Honors Program Engineering Global Leadership (EGL) specialization, maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.6 or higher while pursuing their Bachelor’s degree. For those seeking additional academic support, current students can visit Canvas or speak with an Honors advisor.

Dual Degree Opportunities
Students in the EGL specialization not only pursue a Bachelor’s degree but also earn a Master’s degree in Engineering. You can choose from any Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs offered by the University of Michigan College of Engineering.

Accelerated Master’s Degree: SUGS Program
Many of our students take advantage of the Sequential Undergraduate/Graduate Studies (SUGS) program to complete their Master’s degree within one additional year. This program allows for a seamless transition from undergraduate to graduate studies, enabling you to fast-track your educational journey.

Advising and Support
To learn more about how the SUGS program can be applied in your academic department, please contact your undergraduate departmental advisor.
